Bio:
Good Habits are a dynamic indie-folk band with a knack for turning existential musings into bursts of optimism. With vocals, cello, accordion, synths and drums, their sound is virtuosic, cinematic and joyfully genre-blending – part folk storytelling, part groove-driven energy.
Formed by singer-cellist Bonnie Schwarz and accordionist/synth player Pete Shaw while stranded in New Zealand during the pandemic, the band built their identity around adventure, connection and creativity. In 2025, drummer Jen Walinetski (Miles Kane) joined, supercharging their live show with electrifying rhythmic drive.
Their UK Top 40 Folk charting album Quarter-Life earned praise from BBC Radio and appearances at Glastonbury, WOMAD, Cambridge, Green Man and more. With a new trio album on the horizon, Good Habits are stepping into their next chapter with vibrant stories, playful energy and sheer musical joy.
